This lizard (Basiliscus vittatus) distributes in the south of México and part of Central America. It lives in the zones of jungle near the water bodies wich use as escape routes from predators since its morphology allows him to run over the water without breaking the surface tension, this is because in each step is formed an air bubble between its foot and the water.
